Hub & Spoke

Rural Incubation:

Rural Business Incubator is a program designed by ALEAP to help the women and youth of rural India as a collaborative effort. The women and youth are provided with innovative business ideas on a micro andsmall scale. ALEAP helps them incubate and gain experience, solve problems in starting their enterprise, and find financial support. ALEAP also provides mentoring, training, and handholding services to these prospective entrepreneurs. The Rural Business Incubator facility helps nurture their ideas and transform them into successful entrepreneurs.

Using an enterprise approach, this program aims to attract, enrich, and develop rural emerging entrepreneurial talent and bridge the gaps in the supply chain management of corporates.

Food Processing as Hub and Spoke model

ALEAP aims to create successful Hub-and-Spoke food processing and distribution systems using food and nutrition-related technologies. Also, ALEAP aims to support entrepreneurism and women and youth capacity building by providing required training. As a social responsibility, the organizationintends to introduce cost-effective nutritious food to the people of all economic levels. ALEAP encourages local foods with added nutrition, develops Rural Food Innovation Centers, provides food processing technologies, and establishes rural markets and market access for smallholder farmers. In this model, the food innovation center is the Central Hub,while the rural women are the Spokes. ALEAP acts as a catalyst and communication between the Hub and the Spokes.

ALEAP aims to develop Field Collection Centers and provide them with farm inputs. We intend to develop primary processing centers for basic processing functions like grading, grinding, cleaning, etc. The farm produce will be sent to Food Park for further processing. ALEAP wants to help more farmers by providing information on technologies for innovative crops.
