Post Pandemic: Recovery to Transformation-Initiatives of ALEAPIndia
In view of the global COVID-19 pandemic, ALEAP has taken swift steps and initiatives to support and sustain industries through various interventions:
- Organized various awareness programs on the spreading of covid-19 and informed people about the importance of adopting preventive measures,such associal distancing, wearing masks, and washing hands regularly,as per the Govt. of India guidelines. ALEAP hosted these programs among MSMEs through campaigns across various channelsduring both pre-and-post-lockdown.
- As a preventive measure, ALEAP distributed well-recognized, doctor-prescribed Homeopathic Medicines through medical campaigns.
- The Atal Incubation Center ALEAP We-Hub, supported by Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, GoI, facilitated the development of a few innovations by some of its incubatingstartupsto fight against COVID-1. Some of the innovations are:
GermiBAN is a new generation integrated powerful sterilizer designed to fight Covid-19.
Healthy Cotton Masks is a premium blend of soft cotton with synthetic yarn, which is 100% washable, designed with double mesh perforated for premium protection,mechanized and sterilized, lightweight design, and comfortable to wear for longer periods.
Kavachis abiodegradable PPE for the Covid-19 frontline workers.
Lockdown Enforcer is a device that can locate and track the movement of people in the lockdown areas and alert the appropriate authorities if anyone attempts to evade the lockdown restrictions.
Cajooseis an Immunity Enhancement product thatis a natural supplier of dietary vitamin C.
- We organized various Online Training Programs to bridge access to information for the benefit of MSMEs, startups, students, and prospective women entrepreneurs across India, SAARC, and ASEAN Countries. Our virtual training programs include Leaping Ahead Covid-19 With SME Innovations, WE YOUR BUSINESS, FARM 2 FORK, Digital Marketing, Calmness in Crisis, Biotechnology, Electronics Euphoria, Business Resilience, Digital Entrepreneurship, and Virtual Skill Development Programs.
ALEIZONE – Online Marketing Hub, exclusively for women entrepreneurs. During the covid 19 pandemic, ALEAP realized the need to onboard entrepreneurs on its digital platform to support tiny and micro-enterprises that suffered to market their products during the crisis.
In collaboration with Apollo Medskills, we organized a series of training programs on skill development, such as the “Skill Upgradation Fellowship to Provide Health Services in MSMEs Sector,” powered by GIZ, Germany.
With the support from NABARD, wehave also started Livelihood Entrepreneurship Development Programs (LEDPs).
To motivate and encourage women during these difficult times, ALEAP established a Help Desk / Information Centerto disseminaterelevant information to the MSMEs
Through its Skill Upgradation of Women program, ALEAP is developing a technical workforceper the industry requirement by upgrading the skills of women in specified sectors.
Collaborating with SIDBI,we organized a webinar on the “Asset Restructuring Module for MSMEs (MSME ARM)for the benefit of the micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
ALEAP distributed 100 oximeters to Smt.Anitha Ramachandran IAS, the District Collector of the YadadriBhuvanagiri district, for the use of PHCs.
Under the ‘AtmaNirbhar Bharat’ plan, we provided support to revive different units affected during the pandemic.
We also organized a Skill Training program for Raj Bhavan Pariwarto help generate income for women.
We distributed rice bags to 200 home guards, 110 housekeeping and security staff of MNJ Cancer Hospital, and 45 staff members of Bharosa (SHETeam).
In collaboration with CED ALEAP, AC & ABC, and NTI of Vijayawada, AP, we organized a webinar on “Fight AgainstCovid” for farmers.
Also, we arranged Covid Vaccination Drive with the support from Apollo Hospitals and Govt. of Telangana to the employees & family members of ALEAP and the ALEAP Industrial Estates. Besides, we arranged a Covid Vaccination Drive for employees of ALEAP Industrial Estate, Vijayawada, AP.
ALEAP, in collaboration with TATA Boeing Aerospace Limited, is supporting the Project “Savera” in Hyderabad,which aims to provide employment opportunities to women and children of the families, who have lost the sole breadwinnerof the family,through skilling for immediate employment and livelihood sustenance.
ALEAP established Primary Health Center (PHC) at ALEAP Industrial Estate, Gajularamaram, Pragathi Nagar,to benefit industrial workers, entrepreneurs, and women.
