PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Dear Members,
The year 2021 will always remain memorable for the rest of our lives. It has brought us face to face with feeling some of the strongest emotions of life and left us wondering about the meaning of our existence on earth. We feel the vulnerability of our daily routine and the challenges ahead of us. Today, it is more important than yesterday tounite and overcome these challenges and move to achieve common goals together.
The COVID pandemic taught us to look at life and business survival opportunities. Many new businesses started in our country, and the quick adoption of digital technology opened new opportunities for sustainable businesses.
In recent years, the rise of social enterprise has seen a sharp increase in consumers' need and desire to contribute to businesses that use a percentage of their profits to help a range of deserving causes. This change in habits has paved the way for new business values. The new social enterprises are solutions to improving lives andcreating a vast business landscape.
Entrepreneurs must keep a keen eye on the changing trends within their potential consumer base. Digital literacy helps our entrepreneurs reach consumers and upgrade their production processes with advanced technology.
During the Pandemic, though we could not meet our members in person, the ALEAP Team organized online programs to motivate and rekindle the spirit of entrepreneurship among the members. We collaborated with various institutions to offer innovative technologies to businesses to improve their processes and production. During 2020-21, ALEAP was recognized by various Ministries for itscommitment to supporting women's entrepreneurship, setting up the ALEAP WE HUB incubation center, and setting up theWE ITTC with the support of the Government of India.
We introduced one-stop services through our Help Desk as a Central Information Centre for disseminating information, technology, and training.
ALEAP believes,"The best way to predict the future is to create it."The Pandemic could not mar our activities, and we could help our entrepreneurs because of the resilience and commitment of our staff and ALEAP Team. I thank our Managing Committee Members and Team of ALEAP for the support services extended during this crisis.
Let us remember that success is not final; failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts. Dear friends, we are there inyour endeavors to support, encourage, and admire. Please take pride in your business journey by believing in yourself, wishing good things to happen, and unitedly praying to God to end all misery.
Best Wishes
Thank you
