  • ALEAP has participated in the study tour of the "Indo-German Programme for Vocational Education and Training" in Germany and global trends conducted by GIZ
  • ALEAP offers skilling courses to eligible rural youth based on thecriteria specified in the DDU-GKY in the State of Kerala. The project is executed per the guidelines of DDU-GKY of the Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India.
  • ALEAP, in collaboration with the Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA), organizes Entrepreneurship Development programs for women to become small business councilors to promote small enterprises among SHGs in Municipal areas.
  • ALEAP, in association with World Bank, organized anEntrepreneurship Development training program to boost the organizations in the SAARC region.
  • In collaboration with AARONG, Bangladesh, ALEAP is building the capacity of weavers in Bangladesh under the project titled "Skill and Production Process Flow Training for Aarong'sWeaver Producers."
  • ALEAP, in conjunction with the British Council, Chennai,promotes social enterprises in South India.
  • Jointly withInWent, Germany, ALEAP has done capacity building of women entrepreneurs' associations in India, sponsored by the Government of Germany under the CHANCE project.
  • ALEAP has entered into an MoU with the Government of Maldives to promote women's entrepreneurship in food processing and textiles. ALEAP organized skill development programs for women in garment making, jute & tie-dye, etc., at Fanadhu, Laamu Atoll, Maldives.
  • ALEAP is a nodal agency to organize Training of Trainers for selected vocational instructors working in the NPEGEL model cluster schools in various skills supported by the Department of School Education, Govt. of AP, under the Rajiv Vidya Mission(SSA) scheme.
  • ALEAP, in association with Cairn India Limited, started a rural entrepreneurship development program under the name Sankalp Mandal in 4 Villages near Avanigadda to promote village-level sustainable enterprises.

Current Events




ALEAP conducted a ZED program whose objective was to improve the manufacturing quality of MSMEs, enhance their productivity and reduce the negative impact on the environment.
The ZED Certification envisages the promotion of Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) practices among MSMEs so as to:
  • Encourage and enable MSMEs for manufacturing quality products using the latest technology, and tools & to constantly upgrade their processes for the achievement of high quality and high productivity with the least effect on the environment
  • Develop an Ecosystem for ZED Manufacturing in MSMEs, for enhancing competitiveness and enabling exports
  • Promote the adoption of ZED practices and recognize the efforts of successful MSMEs
  • Encourage MSMEs to achieve higher ZED Certification levels through graded incentives
  • Increase public awareness of demanding Zero Defect and Zero Effect products through the MSME Sustainable (ZED) Certification
  • Identify areas to improve upon, thereby assisting the Government in policy decisions and investment prioritization
